Ski ("Escola de Neu")

Winter is coming and XANASCAT offers schools all its mountain hostels so that they can enjoy a break with the "Escola de Neu" programme.

One of the main objectives of these school breaks is to combine group, everyday interaction between pupils outside the education centre, with daily activities in an unusual natural environment: the snow.

We offer programmes so that pupils can practice any kind of skiing (downhill, cross-country or snowboarding) and/or activities featuring snow shoes, sleds, igloo-building and a tubby track, among many other options for those who want to enjoy the snow, and mountain activities, in a different way.

A series of proposals where the priority is pupil safety, with the use of reflective jackets, an adequate monitor-pupil ratio, presence of an assisting monitor on all slopes, qualified monitors and different options for ready-made programmes, with activities during the morning, afternoon and evening to facilitate organisation and peace of mind for accompanying teachers and tutors.
